Deployment with Radia Management Suite

Asked By: Cara    Date: Jun 20    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1374

how would one go about deploying SPS with a software management
system? the problem i can see from the beginning is the fact that
Radia will log on with only a local account. This will become a
problem when trying to connect to the SQL Database. Unless there is
some other way to connect the database. any ideas on where to start?

Radia is similar to Microsoft SMS. Never heard of it until today,
but our company uses it, and therefore i must come up with a plan to
use it to deploy sharepoint to the production servers.

i can see using this to deploy office, but a server product? are you automating server deployments?

i'm trying to prove it won't work, and thought this would be the
best place to start  my digging for information. If WebEx does create
an MSI, would it be possible to use this for deployment?

If I remember correctly the information on how to do a command line install is in the ReadMe documentation for the install.
