Deleted workflow task still sending overdue emails even though

Not sure if anyone has ever seen this problem before. Basically, there is a
workflow task with due date. The workflow item and even the site is deleted
but we're still getting task overdue email for a user. Not sure where is
that email coming from given that the site and site collection is already
deleted.



Any ideas?

Likely you have a test environment with the code running.
