Deleted DocLib Forms folder in WSS v2

Asked By: Celia    Date: Jul 27    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1083

I have a WSS v2 server with around 200 sites. These sites contain
various
Document Libraries, Task lists etc.

I have accidently deleted the FORMS folder on one of the document
libraries
in one of the sites.

As you may know the forms folder has the following files:
allitems.aspx,
webfldr.aspx, upload.aspx etc

Question: How can I re-create these files?

I have tried copying and pasting existing forms folders (in FP2003)
from
other WSS sites but WSS doesn't seem to like it at all..

Any ideas?

That's the last thing one shouldnt do within sharepoint sites. MS hasnt comeup
with recycle bin facility yet, so the onyl option would be to retrieve the
contents from last backup and restore from the DB server.

Of course, you can programatically develope a recycle bin for your
sharepoint site. There are a number of, free, source code locations on the
web.
