Database Access for SPS 2003

We have a medium server farm with a front-end web server, index/job server and
database server.

We recently acquired additional disk space for our database server and our DBAs
moved the databases from the C: drive to the E: drive. What changes need to be
made in SharePoint so that documents stored in the database can be retrieved
when doing searches in SharePoint? I believe SharePoint looks to the C: drive by
default.

The physical location of the database files should be invisible to SPS, it
simply is going to query SQL Server, which is responsible for disk I/O to the
database. So, as long as no database names or permissions have been changed,
all should work as before.

Agreed - the C:\ stuff relates to the location of SharePoint files, not SQL db
files.
