Has anyone been able to successfully connect to an Oracle database
using a data view web part? I had tried unsuccessfully over a year
ago and need to revisit that again. I'd like to learn from others who
have done it to learn what to expect and what lessons you learned in
the process.

I'm very concerned about performance and timeouts with this model.
I'm not sure if this approach would be reliable enough and fast enough
to use in a production capacity for a business application. Any
thoughts on that?
