Data refresh with in Power pivot with SSAS Cube in Share point 2

I am connecting to a cube (SSAS ) through the power pivot in share point
2010. I created the .odc file and uploaded into the share point site . after
that I am able to drill down and able to refresh the data.

But the problem is the Power pivot workbook is fetching the cached data not
the updated SSAS cube data.

The SSAS cube server is a separate box external to the share point server .

I tried setting the manage refresh option in the powerpivot gallery with the
farm admin credentials but i am not able to hit the SSAS cube.

It almost sounds like you are using the same reference from before the refresh.
Are you certain that you are creating new objects to work with when you are
fetching the data from the cube?
