I am trying to find out whether it is possible or not to load custom data
onto a ListViewWebPart control. I think that I have to populate the
ListViewXml property with the data, however, I can't find any examples as to
what I need to put in there so that it will populate properly.

I am trying to take data from a different data source and allow users to see
the data, but also allow them to have the functionality of the lists
(filtering, sorting, etc.). The data is not coming from a pre-defined list.
The data is coming from a database.

Anybody here able to help me with this? This is for WSS 2.0.
