I'm in a middle of a dillema and I'm hoping that somebody will be
able to point me to the right direction
I want to allow a power user to manage users on a specific site but
I don't want allow him to grant users the default roles (Reader,
Contributor, Web Designer, etc) only web-site roles (Sales User,
Sales Officer, Sales Team Officer, etc). I have 3 solutions in mind:
one with a custom list with event handlers on Sharepoint, a web part
page to handle the management or... customizing the existing admin
pages user.aspx, aclinv.aspx that are residing under the Layouts
(_layouts) folder. I like better the last one but since I'm not the
administrator of the portal I would like to use the pages somehow
modified so I'm not moving away from the actual design of the page.
I tried that but I receive an error saying that
Microsoft.Sharepoint.ApplicationPages cannot be loaded
Does anybody know how to do that ?
