Custome edit form problems

Asked By: Donavan    Date: Dec 27    Category: MOSS    Views: 1248

We are using a custom edit form on a custom list in a MOSS site which we
customized using SPD. It is not the default for the list. We send out URLs to it
via WF eMails. The custom edit form is set up as a "single item form". When the
user clicks the arrow at the bottom of form to move to the next row in the list,
SharePoint has a pop-up window that says "To save changes before continuing,
click "OK". To continue without saving changes, click "cancel"." However,
clicking OK causes creation of a new row. We simply want editing of existing
rows, one-at-a-time. Is there any way to turn off the pop-up window or change
this behavior.
