I created a custom field type which has a label and browse button. Clicking on
browse button open a dialog box, allowing user to select various data from a
tree structure. It returns Id of the tree node and the value to be displayed. On
the page ("Edit Properties"), xml is parsed and only value from xml is
displayed. In sharepoint database, complete xml is being saved. This field type
is added in a document library. This is all fine.

The problem I am facing is on allitems.aspx. Here, the column is displaying the
complete xml and I am not finding any way to parse the xml and display only
value part from xml.

Does anyone in the group have any idea on this?
