custom error pages

If I am using Sharepoint Services 2007 on a hosted server, how
can I get my application to use custom error pages - especially for the
"forbidden" page when someone clicks on a link they don't have permissions for?

I think you'd have to check with your hosting provider. Many hosted services
limit what you can do, and they do it to different degrees.

Yes, I did check with him, and he is systematically dissappointing to deal with,
but at this point I am sort of stuck with him. He said there was no way to do
it, but that there was something probably that could be done "programmatically,"
whatever that means from him. So I thought someone in the forum might know of
some code to insert somewhere.
