I have successfully created a new area template and custom document
library.
Issue 1:
Unless the custom document library has a type ID of 101, some parts of
Sharepoint do not recognize this custom list as a "Document Library"
even though I have assigned the basetype = 1. Search, for instance,
returns MS Word documents with the STS_ListItem icon instead of the
Word icon. Has anyone resolved/seen this issue?
Issue 2:
Setting VersioningEnabled="TRUE" on the LIST element in the Lists
section seems to do nothing. Has anyone gotten VersioningEnabled to
turn on in custom list definitions?
