Crystal Reports + SharePoint? Possible?

One of our users wants to make fancy reports based on SharePoint meta
data in a SharePoint list. Can Crystal Reports hook into SharePoint?

Not currently that I know of. There is no data provider for SharePoint
list data - Microsoft needs to provide one. There may be a 3rd-party tool
that does this, but I don't know of one.

Now, if you want to use Crystal to display SQL server data, you can. You
can then create a page-viewer web part to display the results.

You can always export the list  to Excel or Access, and then create the
reports from there. Not ideal, I know, but will give you more flexibility.

I have a situation similar to this, but with a different product and the other
way around. How do I display information from Primavera in MOSS? I assume I
have to create a BDC for it, but I'm not sure how to go about creating that
connection. And I have seen where you can display Crystal Reports information
in MOSS, but again, I'm not sure how.

There's a SharePoint integration kit for Crystal available at:-
www.businessobjects.com/products/downloadcenter/. I haven't tried this
myself so can't vouch for its functionality. Or if you're running SQL Server
2005 Reporting Services, then Enesys is another option for reporting against
SharePoint lists

I will check out both products.
