cross-site group in a managed path ASP.NET web site

I have developed an ASP.NET web site that resides on a Sharepoint
server. A cross-site group is being managed in Sharepoint to limit
access. The ASP.NET web site on the Sharepoint server is linked from
the Sharepoint portal web site. Is there anyway to reference the
cross-site group from the ASP.NET web site maybe using the AddGroup
(Microsoft.SharePoint.SPGroup) Method or some other way?
