Asked By: Kassandra Larsen         Date: Apr 19, 2009      Category: MOSS      Views: 1021

I need to create Reports in MOSS 2007 from SharePoint List Data & some Reports from SharePoint infopath Forms Library Data...

Do I need to run a SSIS package to get local copy of SharePoint Data & then use tools like SSRS to create Reports.... can someone tell me how that works (refer me any tutorial or article) or can someone suggest me any other option via I can directly create Reports from SharePoint Lists...

Does not have access to Central Admin, to can't deploy any third party feature/webparts

For only Lists (never done this with InfoPath forms) an alternative to SSRS is to sync your lists with Access 2007 and use its reporting functions.

You may want to also consider evaluating the new sharepoint  List Provider that ships with SSRS 2008 R2. SSRS 2008 R2 is supported on SharePoint 2007, for details refer to blogs.msdn.com/.../...tm-with-sharepoint-2007.aspx
