Created calendar view to group by location and also count but does not take in account the fact

How can I get a created view to take notice of the fact that an item in the calendar is recuring and that I would like the count of those events to be included.

At the moment a recuring event only shows up once, with a count of 1 when in actuality the event recurrs for a period of 4 weeks, every wednesday. it would be showing...4 not 1. Logically speaking.

Ideas on how to correct?

This is Recurrence event stored in SharePoint as one item, and rendered just like multiple items.
That is why the counter show 1. there should be no way to change the behavior with OOB ways.
