Create custom search center feature to apply new theme to certain

I want to create a feature that will allow me to change the theme for the search
pages. I want it to superceed the basic search theme in specic sites and sub
sites so that they match the theme the user wants.

Does anyone know if this is doable? Is there a function already created that
will do this?
