Up till I only worked with the WSS sites.
These WSS sites are configured on server A with a administrative account A.
Each department has a seperate top level site with the following address: http://[servername]:[portnumber]/sites/[Department]
I now installed the portal on Server B under administrative account B. I wanted to index the sites on server A so I added them in the site directory. I also added the administrative account of server B as reader in the sites of server A.
When I perform a search in the portal Server A is not showing up, no content, nothing. The site is correctly shown in the site directory.
The default content account is set to the administrative account B. I specified the Exclude and Include the rule referencing to the server A with administrative account A.
And still the content of server A is not showing up.
Does anybody have any idea what I missed and how I should resolve this issue. WSS sites created under the portal server are showing up in the search result.
