Crawl Schedule Error Message

Has anyone else encountered this before? This happens in my
production environment and I followed the installation to the "T". I
can still manually crawl (full and incremental) but I get the
following error message when trying to setup a crawl schedule.

Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 ((E_ACCESSDENIED))

The problem is that I'm not getting any Event Log messages for this so
I can't modify the security on the DCOM object (CLSID) as one article
suggests.
