Crawl Custom or Internal PDF Properties

Date: May 30    Category: MOSS    Views: 794

I am trying to setup managed properties for custom properties in my PDF File.
The custom properties in my PDF file are located at:
File > Properties > Custom Tab. The properties are detected as internal
properties and not XMP meta data.

I am working on a MOSS 2007 SP2 server on windows server 2008 with Adobe 9 64
bit IFilter. I have custom/assigned metadata in my pdf document. I can search
and retreive content in my pdf and the standard properties on the File >
Properties tab, however I cannot see my custom properties in crawled content.

When I browse to 'Managed Properties', my custom properties are absolutley not
listed in any of the property sets.

Has anyone setup moss 2007 to index custom pdf properties successfully? I
attempted to use PDF+ iFilter from ifiltershop however they only crawl XMP meta
data, not custom properties that are detected as internal properties.
