CQWP in a Multiple Field

I would like to know if MS has some fix for the situation related here: techblog.ranjanbanerji.com/.../Content-Query-Web-Part-%28CQWP%292c-Cross-List-Query-Nightmare-Part-3.aspx

and in another other tons of sites...

My CQWP does not bring the results when I am querying a Multiple Column Value. The value are separated by ';', for example: one; two... if i query for 'one' no result come... if i query for 'two', the same thing happens, but if I change the field for a single selection combobox it works.

There is a fix or another way to query using the multiple selecion field?

As far as I know there is no solution to this issue on the CQWP side. What you could do is to develop a Custom field Type which would provide similar functionality to the MultiLookup field but would then save the value as text. Like this it should be possible for you to use your Custom Field in CQWP.
