Contribute Rights required to run SSRS report?

Asked By: Madeline    Date: Oct 20    Category: MOSS    Views: 1416

I have Integrated SSRS set up and it's working good. Kerberos authentication here.

However, two problems we are having.

My MOSS users require Contribute to the SSRS reports library to be able to run reports. This of course means, users that can run the report can also delete it.. not good.

When I attempt to print from the viewer, I get Unable to load client print control. I've tried patching the SSRS server with a SQL sp2 cummilative update, installing the new viewer (9.0.0) on my client and WFE/Webconfigs.

You can edit the default contributor rights  permission leve or create a new one where they can add something but not delete  it. In that case they will be able to run  a report  but not delete it.
