Content query webpart - where is it? (WSS 3.0)

I am feeling like an idiot right now. I finally have a need for
something I believe that the Content query webpart can fill. But, I
can't find it in my list of webparts? Is this something that is MOSS
only?

Thanks very much for any ideas on figuring out where this webpart
disappeared to!

Yes, the Content by Query Web Part (CQWP) is MOSS only. However, the API
is in WSS so you can create a custom Web Part that leverages the Content
by Query capabilities. Unfortunately, I don't have an example but there
probably is one out there on the Web.
