Content Management Demo...is this a good example?

Asked By: Alisha    Date: Jul 05    Category: MOSS    Views: 1505

I came across this video tutorial on MS's Channel 9 site on using the
Content Management features in MOSS:

channel9.msdn.com/Showpost.aspx?postid=229708

It glosses over a lot, but seemed to give a decent overview. It's left
me with a one immediate, though. The demo shows how to make a page
content type of 'job posting' and how people can then use that. What
confused me, though, is that wouldn't a job posting really be a formal
bit of highly structured content and, as such, be best entered through a
LIST web part? In the method shown in the video (creating a new page for
each job posting) how would one aggregate a list of all current job
postings? Is that just a bad example used in the demo?
