Recently we have installed the Moss DEC-2009 CU on our farm. Subsequently a Content Deployment job is failing to complete.

The job copies content from one Web Application (Intranet) to another (Extranet) both are in different farms - version : 12.0.0.6524, so we have recreated a new Content Deployment job however the status is still showing “Preparing”.

We have created the path and we have run the full deployment once which was successful before and currently we are running only the incremental job which is getting struck with “preparing” status after the Moss Dec 2009 CU Update

Any thoughts?

Can we use stsadm -o import/export to verify the content deployment functionality?
