Content DB management

Asked By: Brenda Gibson         Date: Feb 15, 2010      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 220

I use SPS 2003.

I will host many client site on SHarePoint. Basically, these sites will be
used for storing management documents for the projects of each client. I
want to organize our processes to store each client site in a different
content database. This could enable us to backup, or restore site by site
databases easily if something bad happens to the sql server and would allow
us to archive and remove each client site independently of the others...

But I doubt that this is the best way... Does anyone has some disadvantage
or advantage of working like this?
