Add Content DB

I'm trying to add a restored database to one of our web applications using
STSADM -o ADDCONTENTDB with the -ASSIGNNEWDATABASEID tag. The command works
properly, but when I scan the GUI Content DB page, it only shows as having one
site. This database should show over 100 sites and I have confirmed this by
going into the database and checking the sites table. Any idea why this doesn't
seem to be working properly?

The Content DB page  show the number of site collections, do you mean 100 sites
or site collections?

These would be site collections.......
