I copied a production content database to my test server. I have a
blank site I want to attach this database to. My copied content
database is on another sql server that works with our "farm account".

I used: Central Administration > Application Management > Content
Databases > Add a content database. I have two content databases now.
I selected the database I added and made it "Ready". I took the place
holder content database "Offline", I didn't select to remove it.

So my database says that it is "Started", but shows 0 for Current
Number of Sites. When I browse for the site locally on the server it
looks like the blank site template.

What am I missing.
