Consolidate calendars across various team sites

I have a number of different calendars across various team sites. Is it possible to have a view that shows all the events across the calendars in one global calendar? I guess I'm asking can items in one calendar appear in more than one calendar?

Yes, I am using the Content by Type V1.2 web part (free) from Ton Stegeman via Codeplex. This web part allows you to set the starting scope of the content you want to rollup, and view it as a grid or in this this as a calendar view. Attaching filter web parts to it allows you to fine-tune the content in the rollup site.
