I would like to know if the follow design is possible using cross
page connected web parts. The main page of my application contains
a "provider" web part that renders html which displays a list of
patients and their patient ids. I would like to connect this
provider web part to several "consumer" web parts on other web
pages. When the user selects a patient from the list on the main
page I would like the provider web part to send the patient id
selected to all of the connected consumer web parts on all of the
other pages. The consumer web parts would use the sent patient id to
set their custom web part property, patientID, but none of the
consumer web parts would render themselves until the user navigates
to a page containing a consumer web part. When a user does navigate
to a page containing a consumer web part that web part will use the
value its custom property, patientID, to render html data specific to
the patient.
