Connected users to sharepoint

Is there any way / utility that tells us the no. of / identity of connected
users to share-point.

I don't think there is any in the share-point administration. Site usage we
can get. but connected users I need. Can I do this from IIS ?

I am using Sharepoint 2003 latest service packs applied, sql server 2000.
