We just recently migrated to SharePoint 2010. We are currently using
Office 2010. I have a team site that has a contact list that was created
in SharePoint (MOSS 2007). When the user tries to connect to Outlook,
the find that the option is greyed out even though they have full
control over the site collection. I am a farm administrator and it is
also disabled for me as well. Has anyone come across this issue. I did
a Google search and the solutions pointed to an active control in
Internet explorer that needed to be disabled and then re-enabled. I
tried that as well but it did not fix the issue.
Any ideas on how to solve this? Any assistance would be greatly
appreciated
