Connect to Exchange

I am currently evaluating sharepoint for use within a project. I have
read
that it is possible to connect sharepoint to Exchange 2000 Teamfolders.
I
tried to find info on how to connect, but only found the info that it is
basically possible. Is there anyone with some experiences??
Unfortunately
the machine on which i am testing is not in the domain.

Do you mean Outlook2000 Team Folders?
