Configure a WSRP WebPart in SharePoint 2010

how to configure a wsrp webpart in sharepoint 2010?
i tried to configure, but its giving error while configuring
this is the error
"An error was returned while trying to connect to the portlet server. The details of the error message have been added to the SharePoint log file. Please contact your SharePoint administrator to correct this problem."
