Config Database Loss

when i log in to the WSS site today it asks for
login id and pwd, after that it says "can not connect to the configuration
database". than i run to the WSS server when i log in to that server, antivirus
and sql service manager was not present in the taskbar. when i restart sql
service manager it starts searching the file and didnt find it on system, i
re-installed antivirus software and it find viruses on computer. i browse thru
windows explorer and search for database in MS SQL Server fodler but didnt find
any files and folders in MS SQL Server folder...all the files are deleted by
viruses.......wat shud i do know...is there any software that can recover
database files? there is no backup policy set on MS SQL database.....i have a
backup image with Norton Ghost but it was of August 10 2005.

as a best prac practice u must take back up every day.In this case try using
some recovery tool like easy recovery pro or search  for some other tool on net.
