Conditional formatting in the calendar?

Asked By: Roxana    Date: Jun 27    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 2436

Is there a way for me to apply conditional formatting (background
color) in the Calendar?

I have a custom field called Brand. It can have three values: Brand A,
Brand B and Brand C. In the calendar views, when an event is displayed
for Brand A, I want the background color of the event to be yellow.
Brand B = Green and Brand C = Blue.

Any ideas?

I'm thinking some sort of custom list with XSLT formatting, but that's
as far as I've gotten. No luck searching the 'net.

How about putting a hidden CEWP on the page that changes the cell based on the
content.

This sort  of calendar formatting  is standard when using CorasWorks, which is a
SharePoint add-on
