Communicating between webpart

I need to connect two webparts:
First webpart provides a parameter and second has to
populate based on that parameter.

I have created first webpart with iCellProvider
interface and Second with iCellConsumer interface.but
am confused how to pass the parameter and hold the
same in the second webpart.
