Color Codes in a List Item

Asked By: Jordan    Date: Apr 05    Category: MOSS    Views: 3548

I have 5 columns in a List, each representing a step in a process. I wish to
indicate it by Red, Green, Blue for each of those 5 columns.

My question is How can I get colors in a List item to display?

Anyone has any thoughts?

Create a web part page, on that web part page use SharePoint designer
to add a data view of your list. Then use SharePoint designer to
customize the style.

You can also use conditional formatting in a data view to color  code
list item  based on their value.

There are a couple ways that require no code:

1) Convert the list  view to a data view, and use SharePoint
Designer to apply conditional formatting (MOSS or WSS)

2) Use a KPI list/web part (MOSS only)
