Changing the Template Image

Anyone can you please tell me how to make a desired image appear when
i select a custom template for a site?

You specify it in your WEBTEMPxxx.XML file in the ImageUrl attribute:

<Templates xmlns:ows="Microsoft SharePoint">

<Template Name="MyTemplate" ID="10001">

<Configuration ID="0"

Title="My Project Site"

Hidden="FALSE"

ImageUrl="/_layouts/images/MyTemplate.png"

Description="This template  is used
to create a new Project site.">

</Configuration>

</Template>

</Templates>
