Changing Location of SPS Document Library

Need to clarify if I can add several areas into a Document Library's location.

Under Modify Settings and Columns -> Select a Portal Area for this Document Library -> Location -> Change Location

I understand that we can assign several area locations to the document library but after selecting some areas and committing the changes, the Document Library settings still defaults to the original area only. Can I actually assign more than 1 area to a SPS document library?

That option only adds a listing for the library  to the area  you specify. It doesn’t actually move or copy the library to that portal  area.
