Changing language of existing SPS 2003 or WSS V2

Anyone good or bad experience with upgrading by example an English SPS/WSS 2003 towards another language ?

What’s the effect on the existing areas/sites ?

I migrated a Dutch WSS 2.0 to an English MOSS 2007. After some research successful. You need to install the language packs of the source language for WSS and Office Server (for Project Server) on the target machine. Some additional STSADM or other tricks to get things running may be needed.
