Changing height and width properties of webpart thru code

Can any body please help me in this.

I have created a webpart that uses some custom properties like height
and width.

and the user enters height and width of webpart in the custom
properties.

now i need to display the webpart according to the custom properties
entered by the user dynamically.

so, Please help me in how to change the height and width of a
webpart Programatically?

So just to confirm you want the hieght and width  to be decided once
the user  creates a new area or imports the webpart  because if you have
a consistent height  and width you could just adjust your webpart
export the webpart rename it whatever webpartmod.dwp then import it
back to your site for usage and use it on your pages you can also make
modififcations to your area templates onenet.xml files to set the
height and width automatically...

So out of curiousity are your users adjusting the height and size thru
the webpart properties>apperances right now? Are the h&w consistent or
changing based on content.
