How to Change Report parameters respectively

Asked By: Corey    Date: Jan 19    Category: MOSS    Views: 1190

I am displaying SSRS reports(SQL 2005 with service pack2) on
sharepoint(MOSS 2007)site.For this I am using the page viewer
webpart.I have successfully implemented SSRS report on sharepoint.I
have set 2 parameters for report 1)State 2)Region.I have created
datasets like whenever user selectes any state then the respective
regions for tht particular state should be available in the drop-down
list of Region parameter.I am facing two problems here.

1) On sharepoint site, when I selected State parameter first time, the
respective region parameter is disabled so I have to click apply
button first and then I m able to select Region parameter.

2)After selecting State (for e.g NJ) and Region Parameters (Jersey
City, Edison) first time, when I change State parameter (for e.g FL)
I can see the same respective regions (Jersey City, Edison) of first
state (NJ). The Region Parameter is not updated at a time when I
chage the State parameter. For that I have to click apply button with
wrong combination of Report parameters (i.e FL state with region
parameters of NJ) and after that it allows me to select region
parameters of FL state.

I have also tried with "Auto Refresh" property of report but it is
related to the report updation not for the parameter updation.

I would really appreciate if anyone can help me out with this.
