We changed our network Domain name over the weekend so the the
SPS2007 server and SQL2005 servers joined the new Domain.

After a lot of frustration I have got it all completely working after
going through almost everyscreen on the admin pages putting in the
service account. I am only left with 1 error after all this and the
symptons are. In the Timer Job Status in Central Admin Operations
the "SharePoint Services Search Refresh" shows as Failed.

The Application Event log shows error 6398 against Windows Sharepoint
Services - Timer.

The Execute method of job definition
Microsoft.SharePoint.Search.Administration.SPSearchJobDefinition (ID
5cf57701-222b-4a32-bcc9-d8055f969f67) threw an exception. More
information is included below.

This runs every 5 minutes.

Every single other error I was getting I managed to get resolved.

Although I haven't been able to find what issues this error may
caused (Sharepoint seems to be happy thus far) I would like to get it
completely sorted for peace of mind.

Has anyone tried this or gone through this? I did perform backups but
thought it was worth while trying to do it this way first since I
assumed all the outdated service account names would just be restored
and I would go through this anyway.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
