Central Administration tool

I just reinstalled Share Point and SQL to a dev server. For some reason,
the Central Admin tool is not showing up, even after I removed and
repaired the SP install. SQL 2K SP3 is installed. What did I do wrong?

which port # are you using?

To get the right port number:
1. Open "iis Manager" expand "web sites"
2.Right click on "SharePoint Central Administration"
3. Click "Properties"
4. Copy the "TCP port"

http://hostname:#Port#

That's just it ... it is not in IIS ....
