Has anyone of you guys used the CategoryPicker control. If so can you guys pass me some tips on using it.
i tried using it and was not successful. could not find anything on the net for it not even some hints.
Found one guy who seems to have used it with a rich text control that allows him to make posts to multiple areas from one place.
but he had just posted a screen shot and nothing else. no expln on how he did it.

Hope you are looking something like this.

public class CatPick : BaseAreaWebPart

{
protected CategoryPicker cp;

protected override void RenderWebPart(HtmlTextWriter output)
{
cp.Enabled = true;
cp.Visible = true;
cp.RenderControl(output);
output.WriteLine("You have selected : ");
for (int i=0; i < cp.SelectedCategoryPathes.Length ; i++)
{
output.WriteLine(" " + cp.SelectedCategoryPathes[i].ToString()+"</br>");
}
}

protected override void CreateChildControls()

{
cp = new CategoryPicker();
cp.AutoPostBack = true;
cp.MultiSelect = true;
Controls.Add(cp);
}
}

The only difference is that my webpart class needs to be derived from the baseareawebart class.
