Category Folder

I cant see my Category folder when I publish a document. When I go to
publish, all I can do is publish to the document folder. If I use explorer,
I can see the category folder, with all the sub folders. I just cant assign
any documents to the categories.

I'm new at this as well and had problems categorizing until two
days ago. I have to publish  my documents  FIRST and then categorize.
I have an sps tool that will categorize by FOLDER, but the docs in
the folder  have to be published first. Try sticking your docs in a
category after publishing and let me know how it works for you.

I'm having the same problem. I go into Network places and into the
documents folder. Right click on the document  and select which
categories I would like them to appear under but they do not show up.
This is after I published the documents  to my document library.
