We have a client running SharePoint Portal Server 2001. About a
week ago, when they try to browse a category from the portal they
receive the following message an the category page:

Script Execution Error: Malformed XML query results for category info

This message appears very quickly. The client has been using
SharePoint for nearly two years and this problem just began. Prior
to the problem, the server stopped responding and was rebooted. I
ran the database consistenancy checker and it reported that
everything was OK. Any thoughts on what the root cause might be
and/or how to correct this problem are greatly appreciated.
