Capturing site metadata and sending down to the document level

Asked By: Aiesha Amin         Date: May 14, 2007      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 241

What I would like to be able to do is this:
Create a site, and attach certain metadata to that site such as
Office, Client, Project, etc..
In addition, I would also like documents found at the project site
level to inherit these metadata values.
Example:
A project site is created by the Atlanta office for Client A, the
project name is A-Project, the project practice area is Process
Improvement and the Client Industry is Financial Services.

So...
In addition to normal document metadata, I would like any of the
documents stored in the project site to also have the same metadata as
above.
Any ideas?
