Can't upgrade SPS 2001 to SPS 2003

I am trying to run an upgrade...by running upgrade.exe on
the RTM installation CD. Everytime I run it, I get an
error message box after a few seconds with
title "Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003
Upgrade".

The message states "There following errors occurred while
upgrading document management workspaces.
(http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=18995)

When I put the url in IE it just gets me to the general
SharePoint Portal Server web site with no specific
information.

I am using a local administrator account to do this. Any
ideas?

Do you manage to get to the 'export' screen ?

Yes I do get to the export screen and then type in the lcoation to export. When
I click on Next I get the error below.
There following errors occurred while
